The Refectory are an experimental hardcore three piece from Western Connecticut.

Forming from the remnants of several established local bands, they have evolved and grown over their first four years in ways more unassuming than just lineup and style changes. A constant process of regrowth has marked the band’s formative years, and their sound reflects the perpetual state of change they have found themselves in. From brutal dissonance to introspective intimacy, they dance a line of incongruities that both pull at and necessitate one another.
